There's a perfect storm brewing. And the chances for America, once the safe haven of democracy, could now become an iron fist regime. Americans don't know what that is hence the "don't believe it could happen here" syndrome. It is also a failure of Democrats who have also been in bed with corporations and for more than 20 years have been dilapidating our social infra structure. A perfect environment for authoritarians to take advantage with the "only I can save you". Now add the stupidity of youtube master degrees in everything conspiracy theories and you can probably see where this is going. I think the healing of America will only come after a severe social and political convulsion. I think we're about to enter that.
