Guns Make America an Unsafe and an Impoverished Nation
Americans will have to decide between their money or their guns
--
Safety is a precious commodity but it is more than that. Safety is an investment stimulus. And for the longest time, America has been the gold post for foreign investments. Foreign cash pours in not because returns are the best but because it's safe to invest in America. Most of all, it is safe to do business in America
Safety is valuable, but gun proliferation is making America less useful. Many Americans are not aware that safety is a big motivation for why people invest their money here. This might be changing.
Americans for over a generation are not even aware of it because they have never seen what social unrest is. Americans don’t know the psychological effect of seeing an army dispatched to cities to keep people safe. Not until now. Because the prevailing attitude that “guns don’t kill people” will only add more guns to society, until we’ll need an army just to make life minimally safe. Without any gun control, that’s exactly where we’re heading
Investors don't want trouble because trouble is a sign their money is not safe. Crime and social unrest are the main reasons people shy away from bringing their money. Multiple countries offer splendid returns, but they fail to attract buyers because they don't provide safety and stability.
For the moment, America doesn't perceive mass shootings as social unrest. But social unrest is what will follow if we use the do-nothing approach.
Millions of Americans see these shootings at best, as collateral damage for having the right to own guns, and at worse, as a problem that could be fixed by arming teachers and creating trap doors. And last but not least, there are too many crazy people in America; how can we get rid of them?
The foreign reaction to the perception that Americans are cold-blooded killers doesn't function well either. America has always been known as a violent land but in a Holywood way. Things didn't happen in real life. But the murdering of innocent children is a cold wake-up call Holywood has spilled into reality. Credibility is at stake
