Boycott Amazon and Save Our Democracy
The parallels of our collective insanity
I stopped supporting Amazon, not because I disliked their services or products. I boycott Amazon because of an image I had in mind — a clear image showing how deranged and weird it is to see the guy we helped become a billionaire trying to destroy the very system that made him prosperous, as if they had forgotten who made him rich and thought that his money came from magic.
But what is even more disturbing is that we as a country are acting the same way as these deranged billionaires. Working to destroy ourselves. At least some of us, and let’s say many of us, are willing to go along and destroy our friends and allies who are the source of our insanely wealthy way of life. Americans think they are rich by some God given right to be rich. It’s almost amusing to see the remarkable parallel that forms out of this collective politico-economic insanity.
