2024 election: Hope For the Best, Prepare for the Worst

Better safe than sorry in the 2024 election

You’ll say, “Don’t allow negativity to reign in.” We don’t need that. We should be positive and bring good vibes to make us feel confident. But I beg to differ. We should expect defeat. Let me try to explain.

There are several advantages to being prepared to lose instead of assuming “this one is the bag.” Kamala’s campaign is somehow doing precisely that. They post ads saying, “We are losing; send money.” I don’t believe it is true, but they are doing that for a reason — contrary to the MAGA party, which spreads the air of victory so they can get more rich donors to line their pockets.

On the one hand, it boosts our ego to feel positive after hearing some YouTuber convincing you that Trump is crazy and depressed and he is showing signs of dementia. That makes us feel good about the future and relieves our anxiety. Please don’t fall for it!

But it’s true; everything led us to believe Democrats would win. First, we were told not to trust the polls. And yes, the polls in this election are most likely wrong because this election dynamics are unlike any other. After all, polls only show us a trend, and the good news is that Kamala is trending up.
